The song as originally recorded on the album, "The Unforgettable Fire" uses the lyrics "Early morning" instead of evening, but since Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated after 6 pm, the band now alters the lyrics in concert to be "evening" instead. The image was screenprinted in black ink onto deep red cotton knit, then scanned and altered. |
